A Message of Gratitude to President Clay Rogers
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Clay has made the difficult decision to place his home on the market. He intends to remain actively involved in the community through his final days here, continuing to serve with the same dedication we have come to know.
The Briarwood Civic Association would like to extend our sincere appreciation to President Clay Rogers for his dedication, leadership, and service to our community.
Clay has devoted countless hours to supporting and improving Briarwood, always with our neighbors' best interests at heart. His commitment and care for this community have not gone unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for the time and effort he has given.
If you see Clay around the neighborhood, please take a moment to thank him for his service and wish him well as he begins this next chapter.
Briarwood will truly miss you, Clay. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors and in the new place you will call home.

Special Election
When the Board receives an official resignation date from Clay, a special election will be held in accordance with Section 6 of the BCA By-Laws at the following regularly scheduled meeting. Members will be notified when a date is finalized.
Vote Results
Unfortunately, we did not meet quorum, with only 77 homes participating. As a result, the proposed updates cannot move forward.

Community Yard Sale
April 25, 2026, at 8 AM
Join us for a neighborhood-wide yard sale! Setting up shop in your driveway or yard to sell furniture, kids’ items, home goods, clothes, toys, and more!

Food Truck Fridays
April 24, 2026, 5 to 8 PM
We hosted our first food truck, Biryani Addicts, last week. Thanks to all who came out to support and socialize.
Our next scheduled date is April 24; the truck is TBA and will be shared on Facebook and via email once available.
Join us every other Friday through May!
Briarwood Fair in the Park 2026
Seeking Interest for June 13, 2026
We are exploring the possibility of hosting a Briarwood Fair in the Park on June 13, 2026, and would love to gauge community interest.
Would you be interested in setting up a booth (bring your own 10x10 tent) to sell handmade crafts, promote your personal business or services, or baked goods?

As a reminder to all drivers within our community, please obey all Dorchester County traffic laws, including posted stop signs and speed limits. We kindly ask everyone to remain mindful of neighbors who are walking, running, riding bicycles, pushing strollers, or walking their dogs throughout Briarwood.
Your caution and courtesy help keep our community safe for all.
