Upcoming Vote & BCA Community Meeting
July 21, 2026, at 7 PM, BCA Community Meeting
Please note, we will meet in the Summerville Church of Christ Gym this month.
At the July 21 meeting, we will vote on the proposed By-Law amendments.
A detailed explanation of each proposed amendment was posted on briarwoodsc.org on June 4, emailed in the June newsletter on June 6, and emailed again on June 28, 2026,
Casting Your Vote
In accordance with the Association's By-Laws:
Absentee ballots must be received no later than 6:45 PM on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at one of the designated drop-off locations or by the approved electronic submission methods.
Absentee ballots will not be accepted at the meeting.
All members attending the meeting in person will receive a separate In-Person Ballot to cast their vote during the meeting.
Official Ballot Count 🗳️
The official ballot count will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
The count will be conducted by the Board of Directors, together with at least two elected committee members, to ensure transparency throughout the process.

Nominate yourself or a neighbor from now through July 19; voting will take place July 22 - 24 in the BCA Members & Residents Facebook Group.
Winners will be acknowledged with the yard sign and on the entry sign.
Community Bingo
Mark your calendar!

Location: Summerville Church of Christ
Prizes will consist of homemade baked goods and donated items generously provided by community members rather than gift cards.
Pet Safety Reminder
The Briarwood Civic Association would like to remind all residents that, for the safety of everyone in our community, and per our Covenants & Restrictions, dogs should be kept on a leash or secured by a lead whenever they are outside and not within a securely fenced area.
Reporting Maintenance Requests
To better serve our community, we ask that all maintenance requests be submitted to contact@briarwoodsc.org.
This will help us track issues more effectively, ensure timely follow-up, and keep a formal log for reference.
