Update (8/3): July 21 By-Law Vote

The Board would like to thank everyone for their patience as we continue working through the certification of last month’s vote.

The ballots identified for further review are sufficient in number that they could affect the outcome of one or more items on the ballot. For that reason, the Board will not certify or announce the results until legal guidance has been received.

The Board is coordinating with DRES to obtain that guidance. This legal consultation is part of the Association’s existing management services and is not resulting in any additional legal expense to the Association. Scheduling has taken slightly longer than anticipated due to previously planned travel commitments involving several individuals assisting with this matter.

Before providing additional information to the community, the Board intends to communicate directly with any individuals affected by the issues identified during the ballot review.

The Board remains committed to conducting a fair and accurate election process and will provide another update later this week once legal guidance has been received and next steps have been determined.
